The Miami Heat just keep stacking up on the veterans as on Tuesday morning, the Miami Heat signed Rashard Lewis to a two year deal at about $3.3 million.

Lewis had a meeting with the Heat, Hawks and Knicks earlier this week and announced his decision this morning.

Lewis like his new teammate, Ray Allen,Lewis 10th all-time in threes made in his career with 1,690. He is also has a career average for 16.1 points per game.

With bench players such as Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, who were teammates and all-stars in Seatlle, Miami will get great production from both players as they bring added three point shooting abilities to an already stacked three point specialist team that will now contain Mario Chalmers, Mike Miller, Shane Battier, Ray Allen, maybe James Jones whether or not be retires, and now Rashard Lewis.

Combined these players have scored a combined 7,770 threes: Allen with 2,718; Lewis with 1,690; Miller with 1,351; Battier with 1,041; Jones with 597; and Chalmers with 373.

Lewis did not play the last 33 games of last season due to a knee injury which is now presumed to be completely healed and ready for the coming year.
